My undergrad degrees in Theatre Arts and English Literature at the University of Oregon gave me a solid foundation in traditional theatre techniques and the importance of thorough research and understanding. I had the pleasure of representing UO, the first individual competitor in 20+ years, and Region VII at the 2007 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival with my dramaturgy on The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail.

Earning my masters in Collaborative Production Dramaturgy at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London put me in rehearsal rooms with some of Europe's leading instructors. We independently created work to perform every week, giving us ample opportunity to explore the challenges of devising and producing theatre, interactive installations and experiences.
